I have something important to say. I am so frustrated.
I was raised to believe you can “do it all.” I tried and that didn’t work for me. I loved my babies more than my job (which I loved A LOT.) It was my dream job…I off-ramped…but no one told me that off-ramping would mean my car completely died. I tried to re-enter… Eventually I decided to reinvent myself. I retuned to school and got a Masters in Teaching. But now? Nothing. Reinventing yourself in your mid-40s is no joke. I have many, many good years left to work… a strong work ethic, tons of energy, lots of experience, wisdom and smarts, What am I doing wrong?...
